Residential Volunteering / Wwoofing
During the growing season (April- October) we invite one or two people at a time to immerse themselves in farm life at Teign Greens. As a residential volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to truly get stuck in and be part of our community.
What We Offer:
Beautiful Accommodation: Pitch your tent or live-in van at our picturesque site, complete with access to compost toilets and powerful showers. We also occasionally have space in our charming vintage caravans. We’re based in the stunning Teign Valley, just a stone’s throw from the famous Dartmoor national park.
Nutritious Food: Enjoy organic wholefoods and as many of our fresh vegetables as you can eat!
Hands-On Experience: Join our core team of growers, trainees and other local volunteers seeing all aspects of growing across our market garden. We’re happy to chat and share our experience of regenerative vegetable growing and the ins and outs of running a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) scheme.
Join a Friendly Community: During the Summer months, there’s lots of lovely people living and volunteering on our site including other residential volunteers from On the Hill, another social enterprise based on our land. There’s lots of people around, organising outings, shared cooking and fun!
Commitment:
We ask that residential volunteers commit to volunteering with us for 4 days a week, and stay for a minimum of two weeks (and ideally a little longer!). This ensures you get the most out of your experience and really get a sense of all things Teign Greens.
If you're interested in residential volunteering, please email Holly, or find more information on our Wwoof UK page. Join us to enjoy the wonders of Devon and be part of a lovely community of like-minded people!
